सदियों से ठहरा हूँ पर मैं सफर में हूँ
दरिया हूँ, रुक कर भी मैं सफर में हूँ।।
शोखियाँ तितलियों की अदाओं में हैं
मैं इश्क ठहरा, उस काले से भ्रमर में हूँ।।
ख़बरों से गायब मुझे कर दिया लेकिन
उनका क्या करोगे मैं जिनकी नजर में हूँ।।
मुझे ढूँढते हुए हवाओं ने खाक उड़ा दी
गुमशुदा होकर भी अभी मैं खबर में हूँ ।।
ख्वाहिशें बेलगाम हैं हवस की कमी नहीं
सब्र ने कहा मैं गरीबों के गुजर-बसर में हूँ।।
इकाई दहाई सैकड़ा सब बेकार हो गए
दौलत ने कहा मैं तो आखिरी सिफर में हूँ।।
साँसों की टूटी डोर तो सब उसे ढूँढने लगे
ऑक्सीजन ने कहा मैं तो हरे शजर में हूँ।।
ममता से पूछा मैंने तेरा ठिकाना क्या हुआ
बोली, माँ के अश्क में, बाप की फिक्र में हूँ।।
